Repeat.
A new tree can germinate in a matter of weeks, as soon as it is ready, it can be transplanted to a larger container and another seed fitted into the reactor… One after another…Imagine planting an entire forest.
Any tree seed will germinate in the Carbon Reactor though tea tree seeds are surprisingly large. Not all trees can survive in all Agricultural climate zones and some tree types are considered undesirable. Learning about such knowledge is highly recommended and encouraged. Seeds can be collected during the fall from your community on hikes or more exotic ones on line. There is an abundance of information on-line regarding how to collect, preserve and pre-treat seeds for successful germination. Colorado State Forest personnel have been invaluable in dialing in the performance of the Carbon Reactor and interestingly, has been using Colorado Blue spruce tree seeds for their regular planting that was collected in the 1960’s. They have also directed us to a very instructive book by Michael A. Dirr and Charles W Heuser, Jr entitled: “The Reference Manual of Woody Plant Propagation”.
